Parent and Caregiver Coaching
Anat Baniel has pioneered a new way to work remotely with parents and caregivers over Zoom . The coaching approach, called Online At Home Coaching, empowers parents and caregivers to apply the 9 Essentials of ABM, in real time, to daily activities and interactions. The fundamental principle of the coaching is to pivot from the natural urge to “fix” your child and move instead towards connecting. The coaching process provides practical, actionable tools to help you potentiate your child’s brain and generate expansive learning opportunities in your daily life. This opens up new horizons for both the adult and child to discover innovative solutions and overcome limitations. By enacting the 9 Essentials you can see growth in every realm, from gross and fine motor skills to cognitive functioning and emotional regulation.
“As a teacher, i was floored by how well Ariana’s virtual coaching worked for both me and for my son, who has cerebral palsy. Since the coaching, he’s been much more responsive and much calmer. His communication has also improved dramatically, which is a very big deal for both of us. And He loves spending time with Ariana, Whenever I say her name, he’ll get this huge smile.”
online ABM Lessons And PARENT Coaching
Individual Lessons
When an ABM practitioner works with a client, it’s called a “lesson,” and the client is the student. This terminology reflects that it’s a learning method, meaning the practitioner is providing your brain and nervous system with information that enables it to upgrade itself and enact positive change.
Individual lessons are specifically tailored to the student and what they want to address, from neck pain to back tension to overall well being.
Packages of lessons are available, and include audio recordings of the live lessons so the student will have ongoing access to the personalized material.
Group Classes
ABM works with very gentle movements to wake up the brain’s inherent neuroplasticity. In group classes, I lead a sequence of slow, gentle movements and variations that improve strength, coordination, cognitive performance, and overall well-being.
I offer group movement classes in 2 settings: as part of workplace wellness initiatives and for individuals interested in group classes. These lessons can take place right in your chair at your desk: a highly effective way to rejuvenate and reset during a long day.
I’m currently donating 1 series of group lessons monthly to worthy non-profits and social justice organizations. Please get in touch with any recommendations for organizations that could benefit from this service!
